The most
common and easiest way to get to Rainier View is to
follow I-5 North or South, turn east on 512. Then take
7 (Pacific Highway is the second exit on 512, so
stay in the right lanes) south to 224th Ave (about
12 miles). Turn
left on 224th and follow till you reach the small
town of Graham at the intersection of 224th and
Meridian. Turn right (south) on Meridian
and the RV park is at the top of the hill. |
|
|
 |
This
alternate method for travelers approaching the park
from the south on I-5, takes you thru the small towns of
Tenino, Yelm, McKenna, and Roy, before arriving at
Highway 7, (Pacific Highway). Turn right
on 7, and go 6 miles to 224th (small shopping center
at this intersection with a Fred Meyers).
Turn left on 224th and follow till you reach the
small town of Graham at the intersection of 224th
and Meridian. Turn right (south) on
Meridian and the RV park is at the top of the hill..
This route is especially useful during rush
hour traffic. (An alternate route is to take
702 from Mckenna, follow to 7, (Pacific Highway),
turn left towards Johnson's Corner, and turn right on
304th, and proceed straight to Meridian Ave.
Turn left (north) on Meridian and continue for approximately
5 miles to Rainier RV Park at the top of the
hill. |
|
|
|
There
are three approaches from the north. For
I-5 travel, go south to 512 and turn east on 512.
Then take 7 (Pacific Highway) south to 224th Ave.
Turn left on 224th and follow till you reach the
small town of Graham at the intersection of 224th
and Meridian. Turn right (south) on
Meridian and the RV park is at the top of the hill. |

For travelers on Interstate Highway
90, follow the highway west, over the Cascade Mountains
over Snoqualmie Pass. Turn south on 405
towards Renton. Look for signs for 167,
and follow south toward Kent/Auburn/Puyallup.
Take either Meridian Ave or 410-162 to get to the park.
Detailed directions directly below. |
|
 |
For
southbound traffic on 167, go south to Puyallup and
take the Meridian
Ave exit. Go south on Meridian.
(be forewarned, the traffic on Meridian can be
VERY heavy). When you reach the small town of Graham (at the
intersection of Meridian and 224th, continue
straight on Meridian (south), the RV Park is at the
top of the hill. A better route is to
take State Highway 410 (follow signs to Sumner),
take the exit for 162, and turn toward Orting
(south). Go to Orting and turn on
Calistoga Rd (second light). Follow road
over bridge (Puyallup River) and continue straight
up the hill. When you get to the
stoplight at 224th Ave, turn right. And proceed
straight to Meridian Ave. Turn left
(south) at the light, on Meridian and the RV park is
at the top of the hill. |
|
 |
South of the area, the
approach to the park, can be made from State Highway
12. Either from the west off I-5, or
from the east, (from Yakima over White Pass)
Go to the town of Morton, and turn north on 7.
Follow signs for Mineral and Elbe. When you arrive
at Elbe, turn left (north) on 7, and follow road
along Alder Lake. Look for signs for
Eatonville. Turn right and go toward
Eatonville. Upon reaching Eatonville,
There are signs toward Puyallup. Drive
north on Meridian Ave for 14 miles.
